Biography

Dato' Seri Hj. Abdul Rani Hj. Osman is a respected leader in Malaysian higher education who believes in the transformative power of learning. As Executive Director and CEO of Olympia Education, he brings decades of experience across academic administration, regional centre management, sales and marketing, business development, corporate training and industry engagement to build institutions that serve students, communities and employers.

He began his career as a Library Officer at the International Islamic University Malaysia, where hands-on support for students and academics shaped his conviction that education is foremost about people and their potential. Over 15 years at Universiti Tun Abdul Razak (UNIRAZAK), he held roles including Faculty Executive, Senior Executive at the Graduate School and Assistant Manager at the Centre for Open Learning, gaining practical insight into how universities influence lives beyond the classroom.

At UNITAR International University he advanced into strategic leadership as Sales and Marketing Manager and Head of Independent Regional Centre Management and Development, overseeing 11 learning centres and 12 regional centres nationwide. He later moved into corporate training with K-Pintar, collaborating with international partners such as Oxford University, ESMT Berlin and Cranfield University—an experience that reinforced his conviction that Malaysian talent can excel globally with the right opportunities.

In 2018 he joined MAHSA University as Director of Business Development, Partnership, Government and Industry Liaison, strengthening links between academia, government and industry and sourcing sponsorships and funding to support students' further study. As Vice Chairman of Yayasan Pembangunan Niaga Kebangsaan, he champions initiatives for low-income families, persons with disabilities (OKU), women's empowerment and youth entrepreneurship.

DR SHALIEZA RAZALI

Chief Strategy & Operating Officer

Biography

Dr Shalieza Razali is a strategist, academic, and leader whose career reflects a strong commitment to transforming education through vision, innovation, and purposeful action. Currently serving as the Executive Director and Chief Strategy & Operating Officer (CSOO) of Olympia Education Group, she brings with her a unique combination of corporate branding expertise, international partnerships experience, and academic leadership. Her professional journey spans both the corporate and higher education sectors, giving her the rare ability to bridge strategic communication, institutional branding, and operational excellence with global perspectives.

She began her career at SIRIM Berhad, where she spearheaded the organisation's "Brand Recipe" strategy and authored the SIRIM Brand Manual, initiatives that significantly strengthened SIRIM's brand positioning and market perception. She also led organisation-wide brand and ISO certification training while modernising the digital presence of SIRIM QAS through a website revamp. Her expertise later brought her to Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL), where she led a milestone rebranding project unifying twelve campuses under a single identity, while also expanding UniKL's global footprint through partnerships in Mauritius, Oman, Bahrain, and Korea. This trajectory deepened when she served as International Partnerships Manager for the University of Hertfordshire (UK), managing an £8 million transnational education portfolio, enhancing governance frameworks, and strengthening the university's reputation across Asia.

Academically, Dr Shalieza holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Management) from Universiti Kuala Lumpur, with her research focusing on the impact of franchise programs and education export in Malaysia's private higher education sector. She also earned her MBA from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Universiti Teknologi MARA. Her leadership has been recognised through awards such as the Special Recognition Award 2022 from the University of Hertfordshire and UniKL's Best Performer Awards in 2018 and 2019. At Olympia Education Group, she now leads strategy, operations, and global partnerships across a growing ecosystem of colleges, academies, and innovation hubs, while also driving high-impact initiatives in executive education, corporate training, research consultancy, and edu-tourism. Guided by her philosophy that education is more than knowledge. It is the spark that transforms futures, empowers people to lead, and builds legacies that echo across generations, Dr. Shalieza continues to shape education as a force for both personal and societal advancement.
